A Goodbye Note from Miss Julie

A Goodbye Note from Miss Julie

With a heavy heart, I must share that my last day serving as a children’s librarian at HMMPL will be August 31.  Being one of your children’s librarians has been the best job in the whole entire world! I can’t even tell you how much I have enjoyed singing and playing with your babies; my heart warms seeing your children grow (even though it scares me that they can be graduating high school and college now).  You have made me a part of the wonderful community of Zionsville, and in a way, I feel like I am leaving my family.  I am forever grateful for your kindness and for the relationships that have been built.

At this time, I feel compelled to spend more time at home with my family.  Moving forward, I will be working very part-time tutoring students with dyslexia, helping those readers who struggle the most.  I have always held a special place in my heart for those reluctant readers and I am looking forward to this new journey  where I will be able to encourage reading in a most important way.

Thank you for welcoming me into your community, I am grateful for the time that we have had together, and hopefully I will see you around the library because I will still be a patron!

I wish you much more singing, reading and dancing!
