Our mission is service. One of the best ways we serve our community is through our programs and events. We have events for all ages. Explore storytime sessions for kids, teen council meetings, or book clubs for adults. Use the calendar to find events for the entire family. EVENT FAQ

WHEN DO EVENTS MEET?

Programs and events meet at various times. Please check our event calendar for specific times when registering. For storytime, remember to register your child for one storytime series. Select the time that works best for you since most storytimes meet once per week.

WHAT PROGRAM SHOULD I CHOOSE?

We specifically create programs and activities to cater to specific age ranges. Please review our event calendar to find a program fit for you and/or your child. If you have any questions, we are happy to help.

WHAT ARE HOLIDAY HOURS FOR EVENTS?

Most library programs and events do not take place when the Library is closed. Please review the holiday schedule to see holiday closures. Please check our event calendar to find programs and events that may be offered when the Library is closed. If you have a question, please contact the Library.

    Beginning Belly Dance

    Instructor, Kayla Miller, will instruct participants in belly dance technique.

    Safe Sitter

    Open to 6th-8th Graders. Preferred age, 12- 14 years old. Please bring a sack lunch. Cost: $65.  The instructor will email you about payment when you register.   Safe Sitter® Course Content: Safety Skills: Students learn how to prevent unsafe situations and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Child Care Skills: Students learn tips to manage behavior that will help them stay in control of themselves and the children in their care. Students also learn the ages and stages of child development, as well as practice diapering. Life & Business Skills: The ability to screen jobs, discuss fees, and greet employers will set students up for success now and in the future. Students practice these skills through various role plays.

    Art Classes with Nat

    Join me for monthly art classes! Each month we will focus on one aspect or medium to learn. Each session will include at least one hands-on activity to practice our new skills. Supplies will be provided, though you are more than welcome to bring your own materials.

    June StoryWalk® is up at Elm Street Green

    Our June StoryWalk® is up and ready for reading! Meander along the trail around Elm Street Green, 165 N Elm St, Zionsville, to explore our newly installed book Dig Dig Dinosaur written by Professor Anjali Goswami and illustrated by Maggie Li. This month's book will remain up through June 30. If you love dinosaurs, plan to join us at Elm Street Green on the morning of Thursday, June 4 for our Dino Fun Run! **Note: There will be no program this month, but feel free to explore the story on your own!**
