Our Digital Library Branch offers dozens of online resources, most accessible 24/7 from anywhere on a mobile device, tablet or laptop. In our Digital Service of the Month feature, we’re highlighting these services to help Library cardholders learn more about what’s available. For June, we’re spotlighting Niche Academy, an online training and learning platform.
Learn how to use the Library’s many digital resources with helpful tutorial videos from Niche Academy! Click on the green Tutorials button on the right side of any page of the HMMPL.org website or on our Digital Library Branch to get started.
Our HMMPL Niche Academy also offers tutorials on popular apps and social media sites, like Gmail, Facebook and Twitter. Reading program participants will find helpful tutorials about using Beanstack, and patrons who check out our new Maker Kits will be directed to Niche Academy for more resources about how to use the maker tools and supplies in the kits.
Each tutorial includes a combination of videos, screenshots and written instructions to help you learn how to use the digital tools.You won’t need a Library Card to use our Niche Academy, though you may need one to use the resources you learn about in the tutorials.
