Join your friends and neighbors for a festive celebration of the diverse cultures that make up our community at our 2nd Annual Discover the World Next Door International Fair on Sat., April 25, at 11:30 AM – 3 PM in the Community Room at our Whitestown Branch.

Participants will fill up their event passports by visiting several nation booths from around the world showcasing countries’ traditions and cultural treasures. Also, enjoy interactive live performances by local cultural groups, including the following:

Explore Jazz styles from around the world with Dianna Davis Duo’s Musical Map Makers. Get ready to dance and even sing along to a few tunes.  Featuring a variety of instruments and songs from Europe and the U.S.

Egyptian-Muslim-American musician & folk dancer Karim Nagi’s Arabica provides a dynamic and joyful performance that helps participants hear and see the artistic side of the Arab world. Participants will rhythmically clap, speak Arabic words, and be uplifted by Karim’s infectious positive energy.

Epiphany African Dance Collective will take you on a journey through West Africa that puts movement in your body and joy in your heart. They perform song, dance, and drum interactively, allowing the audience to not just observe, but become part of the show.
