Jun 04, 2021 Drop off SERVE DAY School Supply Donations at the Library
School just let out for what we will all remember as the longest and most difficult school year on record, but Freedom Church in Lebanon and donors all over Boone County are already planning SERVE DAY 2021 to prepare children for the next school year. As in previous years with the United Way’s Backpack Attack/Backpack United program, which has merged with SERVE DAY, the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library is collecting school supplies to give to children who need them. This drive goes through Saturday, July 10th.
There are collection boxes on both the 1st and 2nd floors near the main entrances where donations may be dropped off. A QR code on the sides of the boxes provides the list of needed school supplies when scanned, but below is also the list:

SERVE DAY 2021 will be at Lebanon Memorial Park from 11 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, July 24th, and is designed to provide a space for local families in need to get the goods, services, and resources they may not otherwise have easy access to. The organizers expect to see an increase in need this year due to COVID, so many thanks in advance for your donations!
