Teen and Adult Services Department Head

The Teen and Adult Services Department Head is responsible for supervising staff and operations in the Teen and Adult Services Department at the Zionsville Branch. This individual will also contribute to the development of the Library as part of the management team.

Finance Lead

The Finance Lead will play a crucial role in overseeing finance and accounting, risk management, and strategic planning that are essential to the library’s success. They will collaborate across departments of the organization, including finance, human resources, and general operations. This position requires a combination of organizational leadership, financial acumen, and a commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative environment. This position supervises our Bookeeper.

This part-time position works approximately 25-30 hours per week with a potential presence at special events.

Director of Public Services

The Director of Public Services is the primary member of the senior management team which oversees Youth Services, Teen and Adult Services, Circulation Services, and the MakerStudio Services at the Zionsville Branch, and supervises the Whitestown Branch Manager. The Director of Public Services assists the Executive Director in maintaining the daily operation of the library and, in coordination with the Director of Operations, operates the library independently in the Executive Director’s absence. This position exercises direct supervision over assigned staff, coordinates the work of public services staff across locations, and develops policies and procedures that support the Library’s mission and strategic plan.
