How to find movies with Audio Description Features

Many DVD and Blu-Rays have a feature called Audio Description.  For those who don’t know, DVD audio description (AD) is an accessibility feature providing a narrated audio track for blind or visually impaired users, describing key visual elements like scenes, costumes, and facial expressions during gaps in dialogue. This secondary audio track is usually activated via the DVD’s “Audio,” “Language,” or “Setup” menu, or sometimes through specific remote-control buttons.

To search for titles with this feature:

Go to the library website search bar and type in “Video recordings for people with visual disabilities” in the search terms. You can do this as a subject search, but key word seems to work pretty well, also.  It may not capture all of the movies but should give a great start.
