Get to know the HMMPL staff! Each week, we’re featuring one of our amazing staff members. This week, meet Anna Chambley, a Librarian in the Youth Department. Here are a few fun facts about her.
Hobbies: Reading, traveling, hiking, snorkeling, and collecting fossils.
Favorite Book Genre: That one’s hard. I read a lot of everything. The last novel I read was realistic fiction.
Favorite Movie/Song/Video Game: Shining Through – A spy film set during WWII – I love spy movies! I like the Jason Bourne movies as well.
Years at HMMPL: I will be here a year in October.
Favorite part of working at the Library: I love doing children’s programs, seeing kids learn and grow, and helping children find new books that they love!
Favorite Snack: Popcorn
Where will patrons find you at the Library: At the reference desk in the Youth Department, or at one of the programs I lead: Monday Preschool Pals, Monday Tales for Tots, Lego Read! Build! Play!, and School-Age Lego Club.
