Staff Introductions: Mary Miller, Public Services Associate

Get to know the HMMPL staff! Each week, we’re featuring one of our amazing staff members. This week, meet Mary Miller, a Public Services Associate in the Circulation Department of our Zionsville Branch. Here are a few fun facts about her.

Hobbies: Camping, hiking, reading (of course), home DIY projects (I am usually the paint/finish person and cleanup, since I have no actual DIY talents – fortunately my husband does, since we live in a funky old farmhouse.)

Favorite Book Genre: Historical fiction or non-fiction. I find myself reading a lot more non-fiction recently.

Favorite Movie/Song/Video Game: I adore absurd humor, so for me the best movies include Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and/or Will Ferrell: Night at the Museum, Anchorman, Starsky and Hutch, Zoolander. Also I loved Steve Carell in Get Smart.

Years at HMMPL: 4

Favorite part of working at the Library: The people!  (Also, Pete the Cat…  🙂  )

Favorite Snack: Dark chocolate

Where will patrons find you at the Library: At the Zionsville Branch Circulation Desk, 1st or 2nd floor.
