STEM Drop-in Activity Stations

Join us Wed., Oct. 25, at 3:30 – 6 PM for STEM Drop-in Activity Stations for students in grades 1 – 5.

Find stations in the Mayfield and Hussey Rooms, including the following:

  • 3D Printing Demonstration with members of the HMMPL 3D Printing and Design club
  • Snap Circuits,
  • CODE Mouse,
  • Boxels,
  • Cubelets, and
  • Lego WeDo.

In partnership with Snapology of Indy – West, we’ll also have four Snapology stations:

  • Creature Creator Robotics: Students will code four prebuilt robotics to move, make sound and change colors.
  • Mini-Figure Zip Line: Students will engineer an apparatus to get their mini figure safely down the zip line.
  • Spin Art: Students will create their own piece of art using prebuilt spirographs.
  • KNex Animals Scientist: Students will use Knex materials to build mammals, insects, crustaceans, reptiles and more.

Adult guidance is recommended for children new to independent station activities. Registration is required. Registered participants can drop in anytime during the event.
