Here’s how to earn or have a chance at each type of prize!
Registration Prize
Beginning November 1st, winter readers can choose a registration prize of hot chocolate, cider, or a tea package with Make It Your Own add-on ideas just for signing up! Just be sure to register first and come see someone at any desk in the Library!
Completion Prize
Winter readers who complete & log 21 days of reading for 20 minutes or more, between December 1, 2021 and January 31, 2022, will receive their own Maker Kits!
Youth in 5th grade or lower get a mini building blocks kit or plush!
Teens (6th grade+) and Adults will get their choice of a Hot Chocolate Bomb Maker kit or a free book of their choice!
Bonus Tickets for Prize Baskets
Readers who log each week are eligible to win one of our amazing regular prize baskets with bonus tickets! These baskets are won by entering bonus tickets and are separate from the Grand Prize Basket. Here is how you can earn more chances to win: Read and log at least 3 days in a week & receive one bonus ticket for that week for a total of 9 tickets throughout the program. Enter bonus tickets in a drawing of your choice for a chance to win one.
Grand Prize Basket
Winter readers who complete & log 21 days of reading for 20 minutes or more, between December 1, 2021 and January 31, 2022, will automatically be entered into the drawing for a special Grand Prize Basket!
The Grand Prize Basket is called…Community Adventures!

Grab a printed Winter Reading log from either the Youth Services or Teen and Adult Services desks after you have registered on Beanstack for the program. Please note, this paper log will not be a substitution for logging days on Beanstack.
