Youth Art Month at the Library

Youth Art Month at the Library

March is Youth Art Month (YAM) and the Library is celebrating in many ways!

On Friday, March 6th, YAM at the Library will kick off!  Enjoy Desserts and Doodles with local author and illustrator, Rob Harrell!  He will be doodling with his favorite characters: monsters from Monster on the Hill, fantastical creatures from the The Life of Zarf series, and you might even get a sneak peek of Bat Pig from his latest book, Wink, coming out in April!  Books will be available for purchase from 4 Kids Books if you would like an autograph. Registration is required for this event.

Afterward, you can enjoy YAM reception and wander about the library to enjoy the art from local Zionsville Community School students, curated by the ZCS art teachers.  Artwork will be displayed on both floors of the Library.  The reception and art viewing are open to the public!  Feel free to drop in to support our talented young community artists!

Youth Services will also feature programming each Saturday in March focused on a different type of art project!  Registration is required for these programs.
