Jul 29, 2025 Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum Passes
Now available for checkout at HMMPL
Patrons can now visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum for free! For the second time this year, the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (HMMPL) has added a new museum pass available for check out, previously adding a Kurt Vonnegut Museum pass and our Adventure Backpacks which include an Indiana State Park pass. According to the IMS website, USA Today named the IMS Museum among the Top Three Best Sports Attractions in the Country, with 80,000 square feet of motorsports memorabilia.
Drop by the library
The Whitestown Branch and Zionsville Branch each have an Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum pass which allows up to two adults and all children or grandchildren in the same house to enter at no charge. The museum is located inside the track, between turns 1 and 2. Parking is free, but a gate fee may be charged during practices, races, or special events and guests are encouraged to call and verify hours and parking before visiting.*
Passes are available at the Youth Services Reference Desk at the Zionsville Branch and the Public Services Desk at the Whitestown Branch. Passes can be checked out for three days and cannot be placed on hold or renewed.
Thank you, Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum!
A huge thank you to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum for donating these passes to the library.
