May 17, 2021 Indy Diaper Drive May 18 – 22
Did you know that 1 in 3 families do not have enough clean diapers for their children? Working with the Indiana Diaper Bank and celebrating all things racing in Indiana in the month of May, the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library is participating in a Diaper Drive! We are competing in a race to #EndDiaperNeed! Drop off disposable diapers [unopened or opened packages], clean cloth diapers, wipes, and diaper rash creams at the Library Tuesday, May 18th through Saturday, May 22nd. There are tables just inside the main entrances on both the 5th and 6th Street sides of the Library on the 1st and 2nd floors. The greatest need is for pull-ups, sizes 4, 5, & 6, and wipes, but any and all donations are accepted. Let’s help out families in central Indiana who need diapers to properly and safely care for their children’s needs! Can we hit 5,000 donations in 5 days? It’s a lofty goal, so let’s start our engines and bring diapers and supplies to the Library!
