“I can just see the big smiles and hear the happy squeals from our youngest library goers,” says Sharon Walker, our first Everbright donor. “Thank you to STAR Bank for their gift to Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library-Whitestown Branch to bring this wonderful addition to our Children’s Department. It will be enjoyed by all.”

The STAR Bank Everbright Wall is so much more than a giant light peg wall, it is a delightful experience of hundreds of rotating color dials that can be easily changed by small hands to create colorful shapes and images.

As an open-ended canvas for creativity and learning, the Star Bank Everbright Wall will:

  • Develop the building blocks for early literacy
  • Engage young learners in geometry and mathematical thinking
  • Build spatial intelligence and logical problem-solving skills

With the help of STAR Bank employee, Maureen “Mo” Glunt, and David Harting, Realtor, as STAR Bank Matching Gift Campaign Volunteers, Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library successfully raised the funds needed to secure the matching gift from STAR Bank.

“We are very grateful for all the exciting opportunities our community continues to provide with their generous support. It is community volunteer leaders like Mo and David, who understand how essential a community hub like our Library is to a growing community like Whitestown.
