Sep 14, 2026 Explore Indiana Through the Courthouse Artwork Collection
Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library is pleased to host a selection of artwork from the Indiana State Bar Association Courthouse Artwork Collection, offering visitors a chance to explore 15 Indiana historic courthouses.
The exhibit features artwork depicting courthouses from Boone, Clinton, Carroll, Cass, Hamilton, Hendricks, Marion, Montgomery, Morgan, Parke, Putnam, Tipton, Tippecanoe, Vigo, and White counties.
Indiana’s county courthouses are more than beautiful buildings. They are enduring symbols of stability, civility and community. Rising above town squares and rural landscapes, these structures reflect the history and identity of the communities they serve. Through their distinctive architectural styles, towers and details, each courthouse tells a unique story about its county’s beginnings, aspirations and growth.

Visit the exhibit through September 23 in the Lora Hussey Room, located just off the 5th Street entrance at the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library’s Zionsville Branch.
