Our Digital Library Branch offers dozens of online resources, most accessible 24/7 from anywhere on a mobile device, tablet or laptop. In our Digital Service of the Month feature, we’re highlighting these services to help Library cardholders learn more about what’s available. For May, we’re spotlighting NoveList, which connects readers to their next favorite book.
NoveList is a digital toolbox for all ages that allows readers to browse by recommended reading lists, by mood, by age, by genre and more. Use NoveList’s recommended reading lists by age range to find read-alikes for popular television shows and movies, favorite authors and series, genres and sub-genres, and even our Summer Reading Program theme, All Together Now.
Access and use this free service by using the link in our Digital Library Branch to log in with your HMMPL Library Card. If you access NoveList at the Library while you’re logged into the Library WiFi, you won’t need your Library Card.
With NoveList, you also can save a search as an alert, get notified whenever a new title is added, find books by reading level or grade, and print, share or save your search results. NoveList offers Book Discussion Guides and other great resources for Book Clubs, along with resources highlighting diverse authors, characters and experiences. You can also read Goodreads Reviews or check the Library catalog for availability with a single click in NoveList.
