Jul 23, 2026 Join the HMMPL Foundation Golf Classic 2026 and Support the Library
The Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library Foundation (HMMPL) is expanding its fundraising efforts to help ensure the library remains a vibrant community resource.
As changes to Indiana’s property tax laws are expected to reduce funding for public libraries, the Foundation is expanding its support to help sustain the library’s long-term needs, including future building maintenance and facility improvements.
One way the community can make a difference is by participating in the HMMPL Foundation Golf Classic 2026 on Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Golf Club of Indiana in Whitestown. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Foundation’s mission of supporting the library.
Since 1999, the Foundation has awarded more than $1 million in grants for projects that enhance the library, including Wi-Fi improvements, the Seed Library, and the freestanding lactation space.
Golfers can register individually for $150 or as a foursome for $500. Registration includes lunch, a post-event reception, and access to a silent auction. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
