With more than 7,200 seed packets adopted into loving homes and gardens, the 2021 seed library was a great success.  Thanks to the popularity of this project, and a generous grant from the Library Foundation, visitors will see some big changes to the 2022 seed library.  Moving forward, all seed library packets will be small, recyclable paper envelopes instead of small plastic baggies.  In addition to moving to more environmentally friendly packaging, the information labels have been completely redesigned.  Their new structure allows for any gardener or non-gardener to easily navigate the needs of each plant as well provide more information on growing and harvesting each plant or flower.  It is a small change that is making a very big difference for both the environment and gardeners of all comfort levels.  The 2022 seed library will be available to the public in late March/early April.
