Summer Reading 2024: Adventure begins at your Library!

Embark on an exciting adventure this summer as we invite you to join us for Summer Reading at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library.

Whether you’re a seasoned explorer of literary landscapes or just dipping your toes into the vast ocean of stories, there’s something for everyone!

Check out the details, sign up today and let the adventure begin!

DATES

Summer Reading starts on Sat., June 1 and continues through Wed., July 31, but registration is already open!

REGISTRATION

The registration for Summer Reading is open, and you should register any time before July 31 to record your reading time and apply it toward the Summer Reading Program.

You can register through this link or download the Beanstack app on your phone to track your reading.

RECORD YOUR READING

We measure how much you read by minutes or hours read. You may begin recording your reading time on June 1. The last day to record your reading time is July 31.

To complete the program, and be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing, you must complete 15 hours of reading.

It’s easy to get there! If you read 15 minutes a day for 60 days, you will have read 900 minutes, or 15 hours.

Why is it important to track your reading? Because books read means prizes!

Here is a printable reading log to track your progress, but please remember that to qualify for prizes, you need to submit your reading time through Beanstack.

READ AND EARN PRIZES

The more you read, the more prizes you receive.

Record your reading time on Beanstack and when you hit a reading level, you will get a badge that says you earned a reward.

Prize levels are for 1, 5, 10, and 15 hours of reading.

Visit our Prize Market and show us your reward badge!
