Planning a vacation or need to work on-the-go? The Library is now lending mobile Wi-Fi hotspots which provide convenient, portable internet access. Stored within a compact carrying case, these Mobile Hotspots are easy to transport to all of your destinations, whether you are venturing to parks, beaches, your backyard, T-Mobile Coverage Mapor an offsite business meeting. With VPN capabilities, you will be able to access work files during long road trips or at hotels. The hotspots can connect up to 10 wireless-enabled devices, allowing the whole family to explore the internet. Wi-Fi coverage is provided by T-Mobile and is available throughout the United States. Please check this coverage map to ensure service is available at your destination.

Over 25 devices are available on a first-come-first-served basis to Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library cardholders only, who are 18 or older. Hotspots check out for one week and can be renewed once, but this item does not automatically renew; patrons must renew through their online account or with a Circulation staff member. You are encouraged to check our online catalog for availability.

  • The hotspot kit consists of the wireless hotspot device, charger, instruction sheet, and carrying case.
  • Hotspots have the same coverage as T-Mobile devices in the United States. Please check this coverage map to ensure service is available at your destination.
  • Hotspots are checked out for a seven-day period with a one time renewal on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • To renew checkouts, patrons should either login to their Evergreen Account or contact the Circulation Desk at 317-873-8340.
