Apr 30, 2026 Youth Art Month – 2026
Every year the month of March allows the Library to highlight the spectacular art of our local students for Youth Art Month. Thanks to a designated grant, the Library is then able to purchase a piece of art from those presented to be housed in the Teen Area on the second floor of our Zionsville location. The artwork is selected by library staff by popular vote.
This year, we selected two pieces of artwork.
One is a foam statue of a parent and baby rabbit reading a book called Bunny Love by 9th Grader, Liora Erickson.
The other is a photograph titled Starkey Park Bridge by 11th Grader, Tristan Faber.
A commemorative bookmark will be distributed highlighting this artwork later in the year.
